Preamble

What is personal data?

Personal data is any information relating to a natural person who is identified or can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more elements specific to him or her.

Personal data may be collected directly from customers or prospects, particularly when they contact us, for example via the contact form on the Site.

Who is the data controller?

QWB is responsible for its own processing:

QWB collects and processes personal data that is strictly necessary to provide customers with personalized, high-quality services.

1.1 – Customer Relationship management

QWB collects and processes personal data whenever it comes into contact with a customer or prospect. The personal data it collects is necessary to provide customers and prospects with an appropriate response to their requests.
The data processed are as follows:

  • Customer identity, telephone number, mailing address, e-mail, purpose of request.

1.2- Customer and prospect file management

QWB retains the personal data of customers and prospects who have given their consent for this processing.  The purpose of managing this file is to maintain a means of contacting these customers and prospects to offer them relevant content.

QWB is authorized to process Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • Consent for the processing of requests from customers and prospects and customer and prospect file management.

3 – Mandatory or Optional Nature of Data

Certain data referred to in our forms are mandatory.

If the customer does not wish to provide this information, QWB will be unable to provide the proposed service.

4 – Data Retention Period

In accordance with the principles defined in applicable regulations, QWB retains personal data only as long as is necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.
The following retention periods are respected:

4.1 – Customer relationship management

Customer and prospect data collected in the context of solicitation management is destroyed as soon as the response to the request has been processed.

4.2 – Customer and prospect file management

Customer and prospect data collected in the context of customer and prospect file management is kept for 2 years from the last request.

5 – Recipients of Processed Data

Personal data are processed exclusively by QWB’s authorized internal departments

6 – Security Measures Applied to Personal Data

Personal data is subject to all technical and organizational measures necessary to ensure its confidentiality and security against any data breach, destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, reproduction, or unauthorized access.

QWB’s subcontractors and service providers are subject to the same confidentiality and security obligations.

QWB guarantees that Personal Data will not be sold, exchanged, or transferred to another company/structure for any purpose without your consent.

Similarly, persons working for QWB are required to respect the confidentiality of your Data.

7 – Location of Personal Data

Data is not transferred outside the European Union.

8 – Automated Decision-Making

The data processing does not involve automated decision-making.

9 – Rights of Persons Whose Personal Data are Processed
